The first phase of this project involves a large scale "projection sculpture" that is a cantilevered structure at the roof line of the new buildings at Sunset and Vine. The work will project a randomly colored and ordered archive of face images representing a broad demographic of Los Angeles.

The close cropped images are gathered through the artists interactions with subject while a computer based pattern matching algorithm determines framing and takes video images. The archive will be added to over a period of ten years and the artist has procured the right to "curate" a certain number of images into the face archive.

A subsequent phase of the work will involve a street level sculpture that will gather images interactively and place those into the projection sculpture in various ways.
